What is Night to Shine?
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On February 13, 2026, the Tim Tebow Foundation and Southcrest Baptist Church, along with 800+ churches from around the world, will join together and host Night to Shine for approximately 115,000 honored guests through the support of 215,000 volunteers!

Who is invited to Night to Shine Lubbock 2026?
Anyone with special needs or disabilities, ages 14 and over, is invited to attend the Night to Shine Lubbock 2026 prom. This event is 100% FREE for our guests.

Do guests need chaperones?
Guests do not need to have a chaperone stay with them at the prom unless the parent or caregiver feels more comfortable staying at the venue.
*NEW THIS YEAR*
If the parent/caregiver would like to stay, they MUST register as a "buddy" and complete a background check. This is for the safety of all guests.
A parent or caregiver MUST accompany all guests through the registration process before leaving for the evening. There will be a respite room for parents and caregivers who would like to stay close by - it is located at Cumberland Presbyterian Church approximately 1 mile from Southcrest. This room is limited to 24 people per guest.
What is dress code for Night to Shine Lubbock 2026?
Guests are invited to wear the best clothes they have. Renting formal wear is not necessary.

What activities can be expected during the evening?
Guests will be assigned to his/her own buddy upon registration. The buddy will escort the guest through the evening activities, including, shoeshine booth for the gentlemen, a beauty room for makeup touch-ups for the ladies, catered dinner, photo booth, limo ride, karaoke, a quiet room for anyone needing a break, and water stations. Security and medical personnel will be onsite throughout the evening.
